Certified Transactional Analyst (Counselling)

I am glad you found me. I am a therapeutic counsellor working online with individuals, couples, and families.

As an Internationally Certified Transactional Analyst (CTA) in Counselling, I offer empathetic, insightful, and culturally sensitive support to individuals, couples, and organisations around the world. My approach is collaborative, grounded in respect, curiosity, and genuine care for each person’s unique story.

In addition to my counselling practice, I provide corporate training and workshops that focus on communication, emotional intelligence, and relational dynamics within professional settings.

Let us explore how we can work together to create meaningful and lasting change.

Welcome

Areas of Expertise

Anxiety, depression, identity, personal growth, self exploration, relationship and family issues,  grief, issues arising during transition and migration.

My approach is grounded in Transactional Analysis (TA), a powerful framework for understanding how we feel, think, and behave, and how we can create meaningful change in the here and now. I came to this work through my own healing journey, and my practice is rooted in a deep belief in paying forward the peace and clarity I have found.

Clients often describe me as naturally intuitive and deeply attuned. I provide a safe, supportive space that is nurturing yet clear, curious yet grounded, and always held with unconditional positive regard. Having personally navigated life across cultures, I bring lived experience to my work, making me especially effective for those feeling like outsiders or navigating multiple cultural identities.

Based in the UK and registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I work with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Are you an Adult Third Culture Kid (A-TCK), a Global Nomad perhaps, living and working across cultures? Or perhaps, feeling isolated from dominant cultural norms? I understand the fatigue of being “the other.” I offer not only compassion, but also psychological education and practical tools, co-created with you, to help navigate the complexities that arise in such environments.

When I am not working, I enjoy walks in Ashdown Forest with my dog, crafting with my daughter, cooking with my husband, or snippets of conversation while chauffeuring my teenage son. My guilty pleasure is buying too many books and then downloading the audiobooks to listen to on my walks.

About me

About Me

Born in Germany, my father is Indian, mother English. I spent my early years in Germany and then the US, eventually we moved to India (New Delhi to be exact). University in Canada and the UK (where on one of my many returns to - my son was born). A seven year stint in Malaysia (where my daughter was born). I do believe I sometimes straddle worlds!

3 Continents. 6 Countries. 14 Cities and Towns. 36 homes. I understand what it is to feel rootless, like you 'Don't Belong'. The double edged sword of excitement and isolation (and possibly fatigue) of a new place.
